BIGBANG appears in the Best Male Group, Best Music Video and Best Dance Performance — Male Group lists in KWaveHub’s 2026 MAMA Awards guide, with “Biiig” named in the music-video and dance categories. This article follows KWaveHub’s 2026 MAMA Awards nominees: full list, which organizes the current category entries in one place.
BIGBANG’s 2026 MAMA Awards nominations
The following entries are the nominations attributed to BIGBANG in the current KWaveHub nominee guide. Check the official Mnet Plus MAMA Awards page for organizer-published updates.
| Category | Nominee / nominated work |
|---|---|
| Best Male Group | BIGBANG |
| Best Music Video | “Biiig” |
| Best Dance Performance — Male Group | “BiiiG” (as listed in the dance category) |
What makes these nominations notable?
BIGBANG’s entries combine recognition of the group with consideration of a specific visual and performance release. The spelling and capitalization of the title differ between the nominee lists captured for the master guide, so readers should verify the official category graphic before treating those versions as a single confirmed styling. This article preserves the distinctions shown in KWaveHub’s list rather than silently correcting them.
Key songs, albums and categories to watch
The group nomination and the two work-specific categories assess different things. Music-video recognition focuses on the video entry, while the dance-performance category focuses on the performance. Final chances should be judged category by category once official rules and complete nominee details are confirmed.
Could BIGBANG win at the 2026 MAMA Awards?
BIGBANG has a credible opportunity to compete in each listed category, but nominations alone do not establish a frontrunner or guarantee an award. A fair prediction should compare the entry with its category rivals and rely on the published rules, eligible data and official announcements. KWaveHub will update its coverage as more confirmed information becomes available.
When and where are the 2026 MAMA Awards?
The ceremony is scheduled for November 20–21, 2026, at KYOCERA DOME OSAKA in Osaka, Japan, with worldwide streaming announced via Mnet Plus. See CJ ENM’s event announcement and the official Mnet Plus event page for updates.

BIGBANG: Top 3 Contenders in the Male Dance Performance Race
BIGBANG’s nominated “Biiig” places its performance work in a competitive field. For Best Dance Performance — Male Group, this provisional shortlist emphasizes the nominated performance and category fit. A stronger final forecast would compare the actual performances and eligible-period official music data; popularity alone is not enough.
- ATEEZ — “BAD”: A performance-led entry to compare for choreography, stage execution and musicality.
- CORTIS — “REDRED”: Its presence in both dance performance and choreography makes it a notable contender to assess across the two distinct categories.
- BIGBANG — “Biiig”: BIGBANG’s nominated work remains in the conversation, but its position depends on a direct performance comparison and verified data.
