SHINee’s Onew and rapper-producer Zico have teamed up for “Tic Tac Toe,” a new collaboration released on October 7, 2026. The track is the second title song from Onew’s upcoming single album, Misunderstanding, scheduled for release on October 20.
A New Collaboration from Onew and Zico
According to Onew’s agency, Griffin Entertainment, “Tic Tac Toe” is an R&B and hip-hop track that compares the subtle emotions of an ambiguous relationship to a game. Its bouncy 808-based rhythm and crisp trap textures create a backdrop for Onew’s smooth vocals and Zico’s distinctive rap delivery.
Both artists participated in writing and composing the song. Their contrasting musical styles bring Onew’s vocal tone together with Zico’s rhythmic approach.
