BIGHIT MUSIC has confirmed that the group will release its ninth mini album, PERFECT STORM, on November 16, 2026. The upcoming release will contain six tracks and marks TXT‘s first new Korean album since the release of their eighth mini album earlier this year.
The comeback will also arrive in the middle of an important period for the group, with TXT scheduled to begin their fifth world tour in Seoul just days before the album arrives.
TXT Sets November 16 for PERFECT STORM
TXT will officially release PERFECT STORM on November 16, 2026.
The album is confirmed as the group’s ninth mini album and will contain six tracks. BIGHIT MUSIC has not yet revealed the complete tracklist or all of the album’s individual details, with additional information scheduled to be released through the group’s official channels.
The announcement gives fans a confirmed date for TXT‘s next Korean comeback after several months since their previous mini album.
The Comeback Was First Teased on Weverse
Before announcing the album’s title and release date, TXT gave fans an early preview during a Weverse livestream on September 27.
A teaser video shown during the broadcast included the message:
“Something different is needed this time.”
The brief teaser created anticipation around what direction the group would take for its next release. The album title and November 16 release date were subsequently revealed on September 28.
Rather than immediately revealing the complete comeback concept, the initial teaser left the group’s upcoming musical direction open for further promotional announcements.
PERFECT STORM Will Feature Six Tracks
The upcoming mini album will contain six songs.
At the time of the initial announcement, BIGHIT MUSIC had not yet disclosed the full tracklist or title track information. Those details are expected to be revealed through the group’s official promotional schedule.
TXT‘s New Album Follows 7TH YEAR
PERFECT STORM will follow TXT‘s eighth mini album, 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, which was released in April 2026.
The upcoming release therefore represents TXT‘s next major Korean music release after their April comeback.
The titles of the two releases also share a noticeable connection through their imagery. The previous album incorporated the idea of wind coming to a stop, while the new album uses “STORM” as part of its title.
The connection has been highlighted in Korean media coverage, although BIGHIT MUSIC has not yet provided a detailed official explanation of how the two album concepts are connected.
TXT Will Begin Its Fifth World Tour Before the Comeback
TXT‘s return will take place alongside the beginning of their next world tour.
The group will launch its fifth world tour, TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR , with three concerts at KSPO Dome in Seoul from November 13 to 15, 2026.
The timing places the Seoul concerts immediately before the album release.
TXT will finish the three-day Seoul opening on November 15 before releasing PERFECT STORM the following day.
This gives the group’s upcoming schedule a particularly close connection between its live performances and new music campaign.
What Is STEAL THE WIND?
STEAL THE WIND is TXT‘s upcoming fifth world tour.
The Seoul concerts will serve as the opening shows before the tour continues to additional international destinations. Current reported tour plans include stops across Asia, Japan, North America, and Europe, with the tour extending into 2027.
More detailed information about individual cities, dates, venues, and ticketing should be taken from TXT‘s official tour announcements as they are released.
TXT‘s Current Members
TXT currently consists of five members:
- Soobin
- Yeonjun
- Beomgyu
- Taehyun
- Hueningkai
The group debuted under BIGHIT MUSIC in 2019 and has continued releasing music across multiple album series and eras.
TXT‘s Road to PERFECT STORM
The upcoming album follows several major stages in TXT‘s career.
The group debuted with The Dream Chapter: STAR in 2019 before continuing through multiple album series that developed the group’s musical and visual storytelling.
Their previous Korean mini album, 7TH YEAR, arrived in April 2026. PERFECT STORM will now introduce the group’s next release era later in the year.
The group is also entering the comeback period while preparing for a major international tour, making the November schedule an important part of TXT‘s 2026 activities.
