IVE Is Coming Back With Looks Can Kill — Here’s What We Know

IVE is officially preparing for another comeback. Following the conclusion of their second world tour, the group has announced a new mini album titled Looks Can Kill, giving fans a new era to look forward to this October.

Starship Entertainment began teasing the comeback through IVE’s official social media channels, including a striking projection-mapping teaser displayed across a downtown skyscraper. The teaser revealed the new album title and an October release schedule, immediately sparking curiosity about what IVE has planned next.

IVE Announces Looks Can Kill

Looks Can Kill will be IVE’s new mini album and their first Korean music release since their second full-length album, REVIVE+, which was released in February 2026.

The new release also marks IVE’s return after roughly eight months away from a new Korean music release.

The comeback announcement arrived shortly after IVE wrapped up their second world tour, SHOW WHAT I AM, which took the group across Asia, Oceania, and North America.

When Will IVE’s Looks Can Kill Be Released?

IVE’s comeback schedule includes two important dates:

  • October 19, 2026 — Pre-release track
  • October 26, 2026 — Looks Can Kill mini album release

The October 19 pre-release will arrive one week before the full mini album.

IVE’s Comeback Teaser

Starship Entertainment introduced the new era with a cinematic teaser that used projection mapping on a high-rise building.

The video displayed IVE’s new logo alongside the message “IVE SPIN-OFF RELEASE 2026.10.19,” while Seoul landmarks appeared behind the building. The unusual promotional approach has already created curiosity around the concept of the upcoming release.

What Do We Know About Looks Can Kill?

At the moment, the full tracklist and detailed album information have not been announced.

What has been confirmed is that Looks Can Kill is a new mini album, with a pre-release track arriving on October 19 before the full release on October 26.

More details about the songs, concepts, tracklist, and promotional schedule are expected to be revealed through IVE’s official channels as the comeback approaches.

IVE Returns After REVIVE+

IVE’s upcoming comeback follows the release of their second full-length album, REVIVE+, in February 2026.

The album included the double title tracks “BANG BANG” and “BLACKHOLE.” “BANG BANG” reached a Perfect All-Kill on major Korean music charts, while the two songs together earned IVE nine music-show wins.

The new Looks Can Kill era will therefore be IVE’s first major Korean music release following the REVIVE+ promotions.

IVE’s Second World Tour Comes to an End

Before announcing the new comeback, IVE completed its second world tour, SHOW WHAT I AM.

The tour began in Seoul and continued through major cities across Asia, Oceania, and North America. The group also performed at major Japanese venues including Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome, while the North American portion included eight cities.

The timing means IVE is moving directly from its global touring activities into a new music era.

What’s Next for IVE?

With the pre-release scheduled for October 19 and the full mini album arriving on October 26, more Looks Can Kill content should follow throughout the coming weeks.

Fans can expect additional information about the tracklist, concept, promotional schedule, and music video as Starship Entertainment continues the comeback rollout.

For now, the confirmed schedule is simple:

October 19 → Pre-release
October 26 → Looks Can Kill mini album
